Climate
Penha Longa has a very comfortable climate, varying with season but always with a temperate average.
All seasons in Penha Longa have their strong points depending on the type of activities and time you
which to spend.
Clothing
- During Summer and Spring, cotton or lightweight clothing is suitable for day wear taking probably
the nights where breeze chills a bit.
- During Winter and Autumn comfortable and warm clothes are suggested specially at night
Portuguese are very easy going regarding clothes even when you go out for Dinner. Finer restaurants
and nightclubs may ask for formal dress code of dressing up.
Visas
Passports are not necessary for E.U. Citizens.

The Penha Longa Hotel & Golf Resort is ideally located in Sintra´s Nature Reserve within 25 minutes
from Lisbon International Airport.
Taxis
Taxis regulated by the Tourism Board are easily accessible at the airport, just steps away from
the main exit. The average rate from Airport to Penha Longa ( one way) is 40,00 Euros, subject
to change. An additional surcharge may apply in the event of excess of luggage.
