ChiBall Method Level 1 Teacher Training

The ChiBall Method - Level 1 Teacher Training includes 4 modules: Chinese Medicine, Music
and Movement, Colour and Aroma Therapy and Intensive Practice. A written and practical
exam will take place. After passing the exams the participant will receive an Instructor Diploma and is free to start teaching the ChiBall Method.

The course is taught by: Linda Lundgren from Sweden – Represents the ChiBall Method
in Portugal.

Inscriptions to start the Distance Learning modules are always open.
The Module 4 (Practical Intensive) is divided in to 3 weekends:

The 1 weekend: 16th, 17th and 18th of April 2010 from 9am to 18pm
The 2 weekend: 1rst and 2nd of May 2010 from 9am to 18pm
The 3 weekend: 8th and 9th of May 2010 from 9am to 18pm |

Nutrition Counselling

We focus on educating you about the basic requirements of the body, where to get
your nutrition and what effect foods such as carbohydrates, fats and proteins have on the body in terms of both weight control and nutritional support.

Counselling is lead by our Six Senses Nutritionist. |

Classes with 1h30 containing asanas practice (yoga postures), self massage, relaxation
and meditation. Asanas have a subtle effect over the glandular system harmonising both
body and mind. This results in more vitality, emotional balance and growth of inner peace. |

The Chinese art of Tai Chi has been used in conditioning the body and mind to promote
harmony for thousands of years. Ai Chi lessons are also available – “Ai” meaning “love”
and “Chi” meaning “energy” an aquatic therapy adapted from Tai Chi.

Tai Chi
The movement forms are ideal for developing strength, suppleness, internal healing
and stamina, and have also shown to be effective in reducing high blood pressure.
This ancient art form is a magnificent way to connect with your energy flow.

Ai Chi

Daily practice of Ai Chi reduces stress, improves balance, stimulates internal organs and enhances vitality and general well-being. The slow and gracious movements of Ai Chi not
only benefit the body, but also the mind and spirit. Ideal for those who have metabolic and stress-related medical conditions.

The Pilates technique is a unique form of exercise that caters to the specific needs of each individual. Aqua Pilates is also available – a series of exercises that incorporate Pilates principle movements in water.

Pilates

An individual programme will tone up muscles, increase your flexibility and improve your core stability, which is essential for managing back pain and other injuries. Slow precise movements allow you to become aware of your weakness and postural misalignment.

Aqua Pilates

The workout takes place in our indoor heated swimming pool, where guests will use the gentle resistance of warm water to strengthen and stabilize key muscles in their legs, abdominals and back.
